Location: Fuyang is situated in the northwest of Anhui Province, neighboring Bozhou and Huainan in the east and separated from Lu'an City by the Huaihe River. It is also bordered in the north and west by Henan Province.

Wenfeng Pagoda is a landmark structure standing on Yingzhou Lu, the central artery of downtown. It was built in 1796 during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Like the Kuixing (the god of literature) Tower at the southeast corner of the city wall of old city zone, Wenfeng Pagoda is also a Fengshui (Geomantic) tower. It is said that in order to reverse the weakening of the development of literature and the lack of famous literati and officials, these two brick towers were built in southeastern part of the city. The land is low-lying there which would prevent spiritual forces from overflowing outwardly from the ground. Kuixing Tower was first constructed in 1574 of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Wenfeng Pagoda was built later because locals determined that Kuixing Tower was not high enough. 

The West Lake of Yingzhou which is 15 kilometers (9 miles) west of the city proper is becoming a top attraction for a Fuyang Travel. The scenic area contains a stele forest, old style buildings, and garden buildings, all of which blend perfectly with the surrounding natural scenery. 






Hefei is the capital city of Anhui Province. Covering an area of 7,266 square kilometers (about 2,805 square miles), it is the key tourist city of the whole province and the best place to know about the brilliant Anhui culture.

The ancient Hefei City, with a long history of over 2,000 years, was also nicknamed 'Luzhou' or 'Luyang' because it was under the governance of Luzhou prefecture in the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1644 - 1911) dynasties. The city is the political, economic and cultural center of Anhui Province and has played an important role in commercial transactions since ancient times.

The University of Science and Technology of China, and the Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are both located here. There is no doubt that talented people in the city are foremost in China.

It is a beautiful city with good surroundings - the Huaihe River flows to its north, to its south is Yangtze River, and to its south- east lies the Chaohu Lake with its expansive blue waters. As is known, every city in China has a city tree and a city flower and, in the case of this city, the Yulan tree is its city tree and the sweet-scented osmanthus, pomegranate flower is its city flower.

Xiangshan Mountain, winding on the Huaibei Plain, gathers multitude of beautiful sights of Huaibei travel. Xiantong Temple is the most important scenic spot of the mountain. This temple was first constructed during the Western Jin Dynasty (265-316), and rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The stele inscription by the Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty and the cliffside inscriptions on the Shenshui Crag (Shenshui Ya), together with the ancient buildings, are all the highlights of the temple. 

Linhuan Ancient Tea Town: Linhuan Town, 37 kilometers (23 miles) southwest of the Suixi County on the north bank of the old huanshui River. The town has a history of more than 3,000 years and it has been over 600 years since the uprising of tea cultural in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). In the 500 meters (547 yards) long central street stand no less than sixteen teahouses.
